I am in Amarillo TX and the clients have taken me to lunch. Today we visited the "Country Barn" and this is the hallway to the bathroom and the kitchen sink!

A Belated Birthday...

My dear friend Cindy, with whom I used to work back in Chicago just lost her mother last weekend. I know she was close with her mother and was the one family member in town; much of her mother's care was Cindy's responsibility. Not only that, but she recently had surgery and is still recovering and lost her mother about 2 weeks after her surgery!

Despite these travails--of which I don't know how I would handle multiple happenings in a row--my friend sent me flowers to wish me a belated Happy 50th b'day. I am still so humbled...

We went to Chincoteague yesterday afternoon. The light was beautiful. This is on the wildlife loop. Not a lot of wildlife yesterday--just a couple deer--but I managed to find an egret fishing in the water...
